SEWING PATTERNS
Patterns. The world of patterns is a fast changing one indeed. It moves on with such rapidity that it is almost impossible to keep a track of which patterns are available from each manufacturer without looking at either their current, printed catalogues, or their own websites. Since many of the pattern manufacturers are American - and they themselves do not produce an up-to-date website for non-American customers, we have chosen to refer web-enquirers to the American sites. Although all these sites are equiped with shopping baskets it must be remembered that ORDERING THROUGH THE AMERICAN WEBSITES WILL COST YOU IN TERMS OF BOTH POSTAGE & PACKAGING CHARGES, AND A CONSIDERABLE TIME DELAY IN RECEIVING YOUR ORDER. Our solution is that you should browse the manufacturers sites, find the patterns you require and then enter the MANUFACTURER, PRODUCT CODE and SIZE into our PATTERN ORDER FORM. We will tell you if the pattern is available through us, and in stock at the current time. Dress, craft and furnishing patterns from Butterick, Simplicity and Vogue are held in stock. Take the time to browse through the current catalogues in the comfort of our store, or even on this site. Our experienced staff are always available to help you make your selection and will give advice and guidance on the sewing ability required for particular patterns.
