    Whether you sew for fun or sew for work, overlockers are essential for producing professionally finished seams. Overlockers cut the fabric as they sew, giving you a clean finish on raw edges. They also encase seams with overlocking stitches, which prevents fraying.

    Four-thread overlock stitch

    Use all four threads and two needles for producing four-thread overlock stitches.
    Use: produces strong seams.
    Ideal for sewing knits and woven materials.

    Three-thread overlock stitch 5 mm (3/16 inch)
    Use three threads and the left needle, producing 5 mm (3/16 inch) seams.
    Use: for overlock stitching on suits, blouses, trousers and other garments.
    Ideal for medium to heavy materials.
    Note: remove the right needle when sewing this overlock stitch.

    Three-thread overlock stitch 2.8 mm (7/64 inch)
    Use three threads and the right needle, producing 2.8 mm (7/64 inch) seams.
    Use: for overlock stitching on suits, blouses, trousers and other garments.
    Ideal for fine to medium materials.
    Note: remove the left needle when sewing this overlock stitch.

    Narrow overlock/rolled hemming stitch
    Use three threads to produce a decorative finish using a 3-thread overlock stitch.
    Use: to complete the edge of a fabric as decorative or finishing stitch.
    Ideal for lightweight to midweight fabrics.
    Note: remove the left needle when sewing this overlock stitch.
