Today we visited Brother UK for the product launch of their latest machines to blow our minds for 2022. The launch was held at the beautiful Rushton Hall Hotel, which was first built in the 15th century, so if you are ever in the Rushton/Kettering area make sure to have a look!

Brother Innov-is F560 Sewing Machine
The Brother Innov-is F560 is the newest addition to the Brother F-Series, the Brother Innov-is F560 slots in between the Brother Innov-is F420, and the Brother Innov-is NV1300. The Brother Innov-is F560 is in the same body shape as the Brother Innov-is F420 with a lovely 7" (177mm) throat space, and an amazing new colour touch screen display. Some super new features never before available at this price range are the Multi-directional sewing sideways feed, Advanced My Custom Stitch™, and now both upper and lower case lettering in 5 styles for monogramming.

Brother Innov-is M380D Sewing & Embroidery Machine
You may recognise the Brother Innov-is M380D... and that's because you do! The Brother Innov-is M380D is an updated 2022 model of the very popular Brother Innov-is M280D which has been on the market for a few years now. The latest features to be added to the Brother Innov-is M380D is the Artspira Wifi App compatability (we will go more in depth on this shortly), even more Disney embroidery designs; now 65 in total, and 181 sewing stitches. Also we love the Mickey & Minnie updated facia.

Brother Innov-is F540E Embroidery Machine
The new Brother Innov-is F540E, is an updated model of the hugely successful Brother Innov-is F440E, but again packed with some new punches. Cosmetically it is now in a all white body panels, compared to the previous blue lid, and a fresh aqua blue touch display. Like the Brother Innov-is M380D the Brother Innov-is F540E comes with compatibility to Brothers Artspira app, and has an awesome new jump stitch cutter so no longer will you have to cut the jump stitches made during embridery.

The jump stitch! Before only available on higher machines, nearly every Brother model now has this feature.
Brother Innov-is F580 Sewing & Embroidery Machine
The new Brother Innov-is F580, is an updated model of the Brother Innov-is F480E, with new 2022 features. The Brother Innov-is F580 is the Sewing & Embroidery version of the Brother Innov-is F540E which is embroidery only. It has a new all white body panels, and a teal touch screen display panel. The Brother Innov-is F580 has the update of compatibility to the new Brother Artspira app!

Brother Innov-is V3LE Embroidery Machine
The Brother Innov-is V3LE, replaces the Brother Innov-is V3 and has had a serious cosmetic upgrade, you may have seen this model in Europe but it is finally to the UK! The beautiful rose pink compared to stark white looks really good. The Brother Innov-is V3LE now comes with an LED Laser Pointer foot as standard, so you can precisely pin-point where you embroidery is going on your project.

Brother Innov-is 2700 Sewing & Embroidery Machine
Last year we saw the Brother Innov-is 880E go in for a serious upgrade now it is time for the sewing & embroidery model to get the same treatment. The Brother Innov-is 2700, replaces the Brother Innov-is NV2600 and does everything that the Brother Innov-is 880E does, plus 291 sewing stitches including 10 buttonholes, new wide display screen, sideways multi-direction sewing (you can sew from left to right!), ICAPS fabric sensor system, and sewing pivot function. All of this whilst also having a 8.3 (210mm) throat space, making this machine also great for quilting.

As simple as the look! This newer fresher look, really makes the Brother Innov-is 2700 appealing, and the wide display makes seeing the screen that bit easier.

Unlock the artist within. With the new Brother Artspira app you can draw your own simple embroidery patterns and transfer them wirelessly to your machine. Every month you will be given new exclusive Brother projects and patterns, forever giving you more and more to try on your Brother embroidery machine. The app will be compatible with the models - XP1, XP3, XJ1, XE1, NV2700, NV880E, F580, F540E, M380D.

Brother Airflow 3000 Overlocker
Brothers first go at an air thread overlocker.. and we are impressed! The Brother Airflow 3000 will be the newest overlocker added into Brothers overlock lineup and is ideal for those starting to take on more projects, or who need a machine easier to thread. The Brother Airflow 3000 will also be the cheapest air thread overlocker on the market, making it great value for money, and good competition with the PFAFF Admire Air 5000, Janome AT2000D and the Husqvarna Viking Amber Air S400, all though we would still say the best air thread overlocker is the Babylock's, made in Japan and with automatic thread tension. The Brother Airflow 3000 has a lovely smooth texture so it shouldn't leave any marks from fabric, and has an included trim bin.

The advanced automatic needle threader, the popular needle threader on the Brother Innov-is A series sewing machines has been transferred to the Brother Airflow 3000 making needle threading a one push action.
Brother Luminaire Innov-is XP3
This is what we have been most excited about, the long awaited Brother Luminaire XP3. Packed full of even more features than the XP1, such as Colour Shuffling which has been popular on the Brother PR1055X, improved ultra-bright fully adjustable lighting, edge to edge quilt features, new lever-less buttonholes, and an awesome new embroidery pointer which will be the envy of all your friends and family. The projector now loads even quicker, and it has a huge 1554 built-in designs including Disney.

The size of the machine, it is huge! You have a whopping 13" (330mm) arm space to fit even the largest of quilts, and can do a massive 16" x 10.7" (408 x 272mm) embroidery area!
Brother ScanNCut SDX2250
This is the first Brother ScanNCut that you will now be able to purchase from Home of Sewing. No longer will you have to scrawl YouTube or hang on the phone for hours for help, when we are now at the hand! The Brother ScanNCut SDX22550 will be able to cut through, card, vinyl and fabric up to 3mm thick. Also included are built in Disney designs, and templates, the Brother ScanNCut SDX2250 will also be able to seamlessly link to your Brother XP3, Brother XJ1 or Brother XE1.

The ease of cutting, simply put the article on the board and cutter will follow around the design! This will change the game for anyone starting to make Appliques, or that would love to put motifs on their garments.
